Subject: PPS Web PAN Rewrite

Dear PPS Users,

UCOP has scheduled the release of PPS system enhancements that impact viewing PPS PAN via the web application. Web PAN has been rewritten to take advantage of newer web technology. The new version was also designed to enhance performance and layout for users, however it does not address or change any CICS PAN functionality or informational data.

The new Web PAN functionality will be installed for the UC Santa Cruz campus early Thursday morning 02/11/10. The update to Web PAN is expected to have minimal impact on PPS users and we do not anticipate any interruption in service. The user interface changes are minor and PAN reviewers will find a smooth transition to this new version. Enhanced navigation has been added to the Notification Selection and Inbox screens. Additional information is available for your use, and is outlined below.
